Research Session at Winsford Library

Class: Year 5 - Thames, Wandle and Brent Year: 2019 - 2020

On our visit to Winsford library, we learnt a lot about our town and it's heritage.  We looked at lots of old photographs of the town and it's buildings, including our school, the Brunner Guildhall and the Old High Street Police Station.  We even got to look at some maps and spot where our school was and how big it has become today! We also learnt a lot about how large the salt mines are and how important the salt industry is to Winsford and it's surrounding towns.
